Year of the Arts 2024 is a government initiative designed to bring together the province, the arts community, and patrons of the arts in celebration of the strong heritage of art, culture, and creativity in Newfoundland and Labrador—and the many diverse art forms and artists inspired by this place. It also celebrates the creativity that exists within the wider arts community across Newfoundland and Labrador.

The beak is broken up into six parts for the six different types of art that will be featured—visual arts, music, dance, theatre, film, and crafts. The colours are inspired by Jellybean Row and use the existing traditional pallete of Newfoundland and Labrador.
